Wandering to Henley

So here is my first post from my University Graduation List!

On bank holiday Sunday the weather was just too nice not to do anything, so myself and my friend decided to fulfil point number 1 and walk to Henley-On-Thames.

It's about a 15KM walk from where we live so we decided to leave in the morning, take lunch with us and get the train back from Henley at the end of the day. We used directions from here which led us along the River Thames, through some gorgeous villages with massive houses and into the picturesque town of Henley-On-Thames.

We topped it all off with a lovely cream tea at Maison Blanc then headed to the station for the equally stunning train trip back home.

Here are some photos from our day out in the sun

These bunting were hanging along the footpath in a field, they went on for a long time! I wonder if there had been a fete in the field?  It definitely made us feel very British.

I had a go at using Macro on my camera when we got to a flower filled hedgerow. My camera is a Nikon Coolpix S570, and to be honest with you I hate it. It has always been hard to zoom and the focus is terrible on 80% of photos. It probably doesn't help that it has been dropped once or twice and always sinks to the bottom of my bag! However, this one came out OK!
