Micellar Water

I never review beauty products really because I don't really use many and I wouldn't really know where to start with a review/.
This has all changed since this beauty fell into my basket at Boots

Since I began blogging I have spent a lot of time reading other peoples blogs and have learnt that apparently face wipes are the sin of skincare. I quickly used up my remaining wipes (to remove ink off my leg from a pen explosion at work) and set about find an alternative.
Micellar water has featured in many blog posts, and everyone seems to rave about it so I jumped on the bandwagon. My gosh, I was not disappointed.

I apply the water to a cotton pad and rub over my face, and use another cotton pad per eye. I wear waterproof mascara during the day, and with wipes I really struggled to get it all off and the roughness of the wipes hurt. I now simply press my soaked cotton wool pad over my eye for a few seconds and the mascara just seems to slip off!
After using the solution my face actually feels clean which is apparently a feeling I haven't had in a long while.

At the moment the l'oreal solution is only £3.33 a bottle in boots - bargain.

  1. Oooh, interesting. I've been using Clean & Clear's Deep Cleansing Lotion (although, since it's got the texture of water I'm not sure why they've called it a lotion) as it's the only thing that gives me that "clean feeling". It is a bit harsh, though. I'll have to give this water a go when the bottle runs out...
